GYOKUSHOEN ARAI
The rear mountain stretches out to the Amagi Mountains. Though located close to the center of the city and the ocean, it is extremely quiet.

Sansui: Outdoor hot spring baths
The outdoor hot spring baths are reserved for guests of the Gyokushoen Arai in the Shikitei. After making a reservation and checking in, you can enjoy our baths free for 45 minutes.
Open Air Bath YURAKU:Men's Bath
Open air baths for both men and women are located in the garden, where tropical plants grow abundantly in the warm Izu climate.

Our Chef's Speciality Meals
"I want our guests to enjoy delicious meals,"are our chef's very own words as he personally overlooks every aspect from the selecting of dishes to the preparation of meals with his unparalleled skill. Dinner is centered on ocean delicacies from the Surugawa Bay, prepared and served on traditional Japanese dishes. Locally brewed sake from the Shizuoka Prefecture is also served as the perfect complement to your meal. For breakfast, our house specialty Tofu (custard-like bean curd) is served made from the soybeans native to the Northern Japan. All meals are delivered to your room. |
